One of Six

Thank you so much for visiting my site. You'll see me in the photo below with my two girls (Ruby and Sylvie) at my first ever market in September 2024. I'm a qualified Primary teacher and SENDCo and I took the big leap in July to focus on building One of Six.  

 

Everything you'll find here is made by me in my home in Walthamstow, East London. All of the pieces are completely unique and made using vintage, secondhand and reclaimed textiles that I've sourced. 

 

One of Six is playing a small part in saving these textiles from contributing to the estimated 92 million tonnes of textile waste produced globally each year. 

 

The future of One of Six will involve sewing workshops for kids and adult beginners; I'd love to put my many years of teaching experience to good use and help others to learn this valuable skill. Please get in touch if you'd like to talk about this - I'd love to hear from you.
