Come along for a one-off tote bag making workshop at Big Penny Social. I'll be joining the Playground Project's curated family pop up with some amazing independent brands. A chance to shop, play and create all in one space.
Using vintage and reclaimed fabrics, your child will be able to create an individually-designed tote bag on a sewing machine.
No prior experience needed, just an enthusiasm to learn and try new things.
Open to all children aged 8+.
Where is it?
The Studio: Big Penny Social. Just off Blackhorse Lane, an 8 minute walk from Blackhorse Road station. 1 Priestley Way
E17 6AL
Who is running the workshop?
Carly from One of Six will be running the Sewing workshop. Carly is an experienced teacher and SENDCo and self-taught sewer with a love of repurposing and upcycling.
Carly is DBS checked and has completed full paediatric First Aid training.
What will happen on the day?
You will settle your child in and are then welcome to leave them unattended as long as you stay on site. Enjoy a browse of the stalls on offer, or have some food and drink in the main hall.
Collection will be from the workshop space.
Please look out for an email from Carly @ oneofsix after booking - this may go to junk mail!
